The reason I wonder is it seems like he is actually on the east side of Lake Michigan! The winds have arrived big time. I feel like I'm in a cork with the bobbing around!
Nice farmer's market here in the marina parking lot this morning. Steve found a butternut squash and small eggplant so there will be some great squash tomorrow (thanks to Becky for the recipe:-) ). The storm clouds were brewing early so what a better day than this to go to the casino!!
The local bus picked us up by the supermarket and took us the 10 miles to the casino where we found our favorite games: Lucky Lemming (Steve's favorite) and Super Jackpot party (mine). We of course left with a lighter wallet but it was a fun way to spend a few hours - these are penny slots so you really can't lose TOO much! It was quite cool today.
Pot luck at the boat next door with the boats Surona (Peter and Cheryl) and Selahi (Jim and Linda) as we have all ended up here together. A sailboat just came in - talk about crazy.
