While hiking in New England we saw many different types of mushrooms. I was trying to get pictures of birds but not having any luck. So I decided to go with mushrooms. There was an amazing variety, including some green mushrooms. I included a photo from a friend of a giant puffball, very good eating! Here are some of the pictures.

Probably more than you ever wanted to see but it was a lot of fun looking for different types in person on our hikes. We never found a purple mushroom which I know exists!
